One mistake I see a lot of first-time homebuyers make...

They worry about getting approved instead of making sure the payment fits their life.
Just because you're approved for a certain amount doesn't mean you should spend it all.
Before you buy, try to keep these things in mind:

🏡 Keep your monthly housing payment around 28% of your income.
💰 Have money set aside for emergencies.
🔧 Save a little extra for repairs. Every home needs something eventually.
📅 If you can, plan to stay in the home for at least 5 years.

Buying a home doesn't have to be stressful. A little planning now can make a big difference later.

If we haven't met yet, I'm a mortgage professional who loves helping people understand the home-buying process. If you have questions or just want to know where to start, send me a message. I'd be happy to help.
